Prof. John A. Keith is an expert in physical chemistry and computational modeling and simulations. Specifically, the Keith group is interested in the application and development of computational chemistry methods to study chemical reactions (e.g. thermodynamics, kinetics, and dynamics). Our group is currently developing “post semiempirical methods” that provide chemical insights and reasonable accuracy with low cost to better understand sensors and reaction mechanisms in plasmas of relevance for space engineering.
