Tyler Nicoletti, MBA/MS, is a dedicated professional with extensive expertise in military service, data science, and engineering strategy. At the University of Pittsburgh, he plays a pivotal role in the research ecosystem by overseeing software development and data science project management within the Health Sciences. His leadership drives innovative research across the School of Health Sciences, fostering advancements that impact both academia and industry. Currently pursuing a doctorate in Engineering Strategy at the Katz Graduate School of Business, Tyler's research focuses on the application of data science and machine learning to a diverse array of fields. His projects encompass military medical analysis drones, eclipsing binary star modeling, human-computer interaction, and natural language processing, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach and commitment to pushing technological boundaries.
 
Previously, Tyler was instrumental at Carnegie Mellon University in operationalizing a groundbreaking Department of Defense AI and Robotics program, delivering state-of-the-art solutions to enhance warfighter capabilities. His efforts significantly contributed to the advancement of military technologies, bridging the gap between theoretical research and real-world applications. Before transitioning to academia and research, Tyler served as an Infantryman in the U.S. Army, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and strategic thinking.
