YuAnn Li

YuAnn (Yuan) Li received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Wuhan University, China, in 2003, 2006, and 2009, respectively. Dr. Li was a lecturer (2009-2013), an associate professor (2014-2018) in Sichuan University, China; and an assistant professor (2019-2024) in Florida State University. She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, Swanson School of Engineering. Dr. Li’s research area is power electronics, particularly in power system applications. Her interested research topics in space engineering are power system architecture design and optimum control for efficient energy utilization in space missions, design of fault-tolerant and reconfigurable power system for reliability and resilience, AI technology applied to power electronics design and operation for reduced size, weight, and improved efficiency.
